Flux Removal Tips and Techniques




    What can be used for flux removal?

  • Use a commercial flux remover(CJ's) to wipe off all flux residue
  • Use warm water and liquid detergent, gently scrub and then rinse in cool water
  • Use a combination of liquid detergent and baking soda. Scrub fluxed areas and then rinse thoroughly in cool water
  • What can I use to apply flux remover?

  • Use a dish washing brush filled with remover. Due to the built-in scrubber, you can scrub and apply at the same time. Do Not Re-use scrubber for dishes

    What prevents corrosive acids from building over time?

  • A thorough removal of all flux residue.
