Tips for Glass Saws

Glass Saws Allow You to Cut Shapes You Otherwise Couldn't Do.

Saw blade breaks or wears out quickly?
  • Don't push so hard when cutting glass. Let the diamonds on the blade do the work. Pushing hard does not increase the speed of cutting, all it does is add undue pressure on the blade.

Have white build up on the glass when cutting?
  • You are not getting enough coolant on the blade. Check your water reservoir.

Excessive over spray when using saw?
  • There is too much coolant. Check your water reservoir.

Pattern markings are washing off?
  • Use a product called Mark Stay or chapstick to coat the lines before cutting.
