Organizing Patterns for Stained Glass

The more stained glass you do, the more patterns for stained glass you will have. It's important to organize your patterns so you can quickly see what you have.

When we first started out, we would fold patterns and place them into folders. Soon this became unwieldy and we didn't know what patterns we had.

Organizing patterns

Currently we are
storing patterns
by hanging them
in a make-shift closet.

Another place we
store patterns is,
with our pattern books,
in an old magazine rack.

An additional way to store or organize your patterns is by rolling them up and storing them in large wrapping paper containers like the ones used for Christmas wrapping paper.

It really doesn't matter how you store them as long as they are kept clean, dry and available to reuse.
