Pattern Tips for Stained Glass
Can't remember what glass you used on previous patterns for stained glass? - A quick pattern tip for this is to write the quantity and type of glass used in the margin of your pattern. This will make it easier the next time you want to use this pattern.
Having trouble reusing patterns?
- Use good quality paper, card stock, or photo paper to print patterns
Problems storing patterns?
- Place printed patterns into clear plastic sleeves this will protect them and allow you to use erasable markers over the patterns
- For larger patterns roll them and place them inside paper tubes commonly found in wrapping paper. Be sure to label the tube with the name of the pattern
What to use for laying out pattern?
- Use ceiling tiles for layout of pattern as well as for soldering
