Finishing Compound
to Clean Stained Glass
and Remove Tarnish

Stained Glass Compound

Finishing Compound is applied to stained glass after it has been soldered, flux removed, and optional patina applied. It is used to polish and remove tarnish on stained glass panels. Finishing compound is made from carnauba wax, antioxidants and polishing agents.

Application

  1. Using a soft cloth, spread a thin coat evenly over glass and metal.
  2. Rub lightly along solder lines to insure a bright, even finish.
  3. Let dry to a haze then buff to a shine.

Using finishing compound will add luster and protection to lead, brass, chrome, copper, raw solder and most patina finishes.
Using finishing compound will add to the professional look of your stained glass art work.
