To celebrate the European days of Jewish Culture, join our free tours that celebrate Jewish heritage at the V&A South Kensington. Visitors will be guided through the galleries to understand and appreciate the multiple aspects of the museum’s Jewish Heritage: donations from eminent collectors, stories of refuge and exile and beauty of ritual art. Each item tells a different story and together they contribute to this national museum collection.’

What do these three objects have in common: a 17th-century marble bust of King Charles II, a 3- meter-high Japanese bronze incense burner, and a gold Torah crown? They are all part of the V&A’s collection notably donated from the Anglo-Jewish community. These tours will bring to light the essential role played by this community to build what is today the leading museum of art and design.

Please note that our public tours may be crowded and will make you walk across various galleries.
